Became aware in 1971 after driving a friend's RX3. Left Chevrolet to work for Mazda. Did a short stint with Porsche after the Mazda Dealership went under. Became independent rotary servicer in 1975. Moved from NJ to Arizona in 1978 and worked for an independent Mazda shop until 1986 when I opened Rx for your 7 -  Rotary Response and Racing. 

Campaigned Mazda's for 12 years in ASRA and SCCA, starting in Solo events in a CS RX3 which eventually turned into an ITA RX3. Then built the GT3 RX7.  At one time ran an ITA RX3, ITA RX7 and the GT3 RX7 under the Rotary Response and Racing colors.  Multiple Championships were won.

Extra curricular racing activities:

Worked as a SCCA volunteer emergency workers for F1, CART, IMSA, TransAm and NASCAR .  Had the privilege to work as a pit fireman for Ken Tyrrell F1 team, Penske CART team,  Mazda's 792P GTP, Nissan Trans AM team.
